John M. Krambeer, CEO & Founder

Mr. John Krambeer founded Camden Capital in 2003 and is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Krambeer is actively involved in managing client relationships while overseeing the investment management process, including manager selection and review.

Mr. Krambeer has extensive experience in providing wealthy families with strategic investment advice, including portfolio design and creation along with oversight of investment partnerships. Mr. Krambeer has spent his career working with both traditional and alternative investment managers, evaluating asset allocation strategies, managing long-term equity portfolios and implementing options strategies for large concentrated stock positions.

Mr. Krambeer is an inaugural member of the Schwab Institutional Advisory Council for Advisors Turning Independent (ATI). By design, the ATI Advisory Council acts as an elite sounding board for firms transitioning to independence in the ever-changing wealth management industry.

Prior to forming the Camden Capital, Mr. Krambeer spent 16 years at Merrill Lynch, where he and his wealth management team built the firm’s largest Private Banking and Investment Group. Mr. Krambeer has been featured in several wealth management industry publications for his expertise in the independent investment advisory world and his insight on current market conditions.

Mr. Krambeer serves as a Trustee for the Autry National Center and is very active in the community, supporting various philanthropic organizations. Mr. Krambeer received a B.S. in Finance from Woodbury University.

Gary T. Nicklaus, Partner

Mr. Gary Nicklaus has been the Vice Chairman of the Board of the Nicklaus Companies since 2009. Prior, he was the Managing Director of Nicklaus Companies and the Founder and President of Nicklaus Investments. Mr. Nicklaus spent his first several years with the Nicklaus family of companies focusing on investment opportunities around the world that were generated through the network of business contacts that have been cultivated for decades.

From 1991 through 2002 Mr. Nicklaus played golf professionally on the PGA Tour. He has since regained his amateur status and competes in Amateur Events. Mr. Nicklaus is also an accomplished golf course designer, with courses throughout the United States and abroad, including Wales, Mexico and Spain.

In 2012, Mr. Nicklaus invested in Camden Capital and was appointed to the Board of Directors of the firm. As the firm has embarked on a global growth strategy, the Nicklaus family network provides unparalleled opportunities to the firm and its client base.

Mr. Nicklaus is Co-Chairman of the Children’s Healthcare Charity, Inc., a non-profit organization and primary beneficiary of the Honda Classic, a premier PGA Tour event. Mr. Nicklaus received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a Major in Finance, from The Ohio State University.

Mark H. Udis, Partner

Mr. Mark Udis joined the firm in 2005 and develops, implements and supports client investment portfolios, while also managing the firm’s operations. Mr. Udis maintains strong relationships with clients, investment managers and Camden’s outside partnerships as he continues in his efforts to establish new family relationships.

Mr. Udis began his career with Lockheed Martin and participated in the company’s esteemed Finance & Leadership Development Program where during his tenure he rotated through various advanced technology divisions.

Mr. Udis received a B.S. in Finance from Lehigh University. An active member of Theta Xi, he served as both President and Treasurer. Mr. Udis continues to serve the fraternity organization as a member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer of the alumni association.

Rich P. Bursek, Partner

Mr. Rich Bursek is responsible for corporate development and the national expansion of Camden. He leads the discovery and successful integration of professionals who passionately share the firm’s investment philosophy, client centric approach, corporate values and relentless drive to exceed expectations.

Mr. Bursek’s responsibilities also include branding, marketing, public relations and client communications, as well as the ongoing development of the firm’s product and service-delivery platform.

Prior to his arrival at Camden Capital Management, Mr. Bursek was the Chief Operating Officer of a wealth management and trust business with offices throughout Florida. Mr. Bursek has a 20-year track record of working with leading financial services firms and he has led interactive strategy and marketing teams for Fortune 500 companies.

Mr. Bursek graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Management from Ball State University.

Evans Nettles, J.D., CPA, CGMA, CFO & CCO

Mr. Evans Nettles joined Camden Capital in 2008 with over 15 years of accounting and finance experience. Mr. Nettles oversees the accounting, financial management and regulatory compliance of the company.

Mr. Nettles previously worked as an Internal Revenue Agent with the Department of the Treasury, Internal Revenue Service.

Mr. Nettles earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Woodbury University and a Juris Doctor degree from Valparaiso University School of Law. He is a Certified Public Accountant and an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of CPAs.

Amanda Courtney, Client Relations Manager

Ms. Amanda Courtney oversees account administration and maintenance. She works with new and existing clients to service all financial requests and inquiries and coordinates transactions and documentation while maintaining investment records. Amanda acts as the company liaison with custodians, investment managers and other outside agencies. She manages client relationships and helps support all facets of the advisory process and client experience

Ms. Courtney has worked in the financial services industry since 2003. She began her career at American Business Bank, a commercial bank specializing in serving the middle market business community of Southern California. Ms. Courtney also has experience in commercial real estate, as she worked closely with the Acquisitions and Dispositions Department of Thomas Properties Group, a full service real estate operating company and institutional investment manager.

Ms. Courtney is a certified Notary Public for Los Angeles County and she earned her B.A. in History from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.

Scott H. Fellmeth, Associate

Mr. Scott Fellmeth assists in managing client accounts by aiding in the development and maintenance of investment portfolios in addition to performing due diligence for fund manager selection and review.

Mr. Fellmeth began his career with Luminous Capital in Century City, where he focused on clients in the technology and venture capital sectors. During his tenure he we successful in building the company’s first sales desk and was responsible for bringing new clients to the firm.

Mr. Fellmeth graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Business Administration and Corporate Finance.
